ElectronicsBenchHQ is an independent guide site for the hobby and repair electronics bench: multimeters, soldering irons and stations, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, PCB design in KiCad, and the microcontroller boards that tie it together.
Low-voltage bench work only. These guides cover battery-powered and low-voltage DC circuits, components and boards. Anything involving household mains wiring belongs to a licensed electrician and local code, and we link out rather than give instructions.
How the guides are written. How-tos are built from manufacturer manuals, datasheets and long-standing community documentation, written up step by step. Tool comparisons are compiled from manufacturer specifications, published prices and owner feedback patterns, and every comparison says so. We do not claim to have tested tools we have not used. If we test a tool ourselves, the page will say exactly what we did and show the photos. The full method is on How we compare.
Not affiliated. We are not sponsored by, or affiliated with, any tool or component brand. Product names belong to their owners.
Affiliate disclosure. Some links go to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what a guide recommends.
